Although we have already begun our (hopefully) brighter new year, I wanted to take the time to reflect on the past year as well! 2020 brought so many challenges and hardships, but some of those challenges lead me to better things that I could not be more thankful for! Let’s start it off shall we ๐
January //

Started off the year cheering on our Tigers in the National Championship! Unfortunately not the outcome we wanted but it was still a ton of fun sitting on the FRONT ROW of the student section! Honestly we should have known after this game that 2020 was not looking good ahead…
February //

Sean & I were so excited to go see Dancing with the Stars Live Tour in Greenville! Meg and Andrew were also here because they are huge fans as well! Haha. This show was so much fun! Not only did they perform so many dances but the stars would come out in between dances to talk to the audience which I loved! I am crossing my fingers that 2021 brings us back (covid safe) concerts and shows!
March //

March was sadly the last normal month of school I had before everything began to shut down. Luckily I was able to spend my spring break quarantining at the beach with my best friends! We spent a week at Saint Helena Island and had so much fun spending time together before we had to go virtual the rest of the semester ๐ But this was just the beginning of a LONG and family filled summer at home!
April //
*que Peyton content for many many months* ๐

Quarantine was not so bad with this little cutie to hangout with! This picture was taken on Easter, peep the bunny slippers ๐ I cannot believe how much she has grown since then!

While in quarantine, it gave us the chance to celebrate anything we could! We threw Peyton a 1/2 birthday party!! Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed of course, her favorite ๐
May //

We took a little family vacation to Folly Beach! This trip was so special for many reasons: 1. We got out of the house for a little bit and stayed in the CUTEST airbnb. 2. This was Peyton’s first trip to the beach! 3. This was the beginning of our blog!
June //

This month I got to spend some time with Sean’s family in Sunset Beach! This is a family vacation every year with their family friends! I have been the past 2 years and look forward to it so much! This group is so much fun to hangout with and I am so lucky to be able to vacation with these great people ๐

June also brought me…. MY CLEMSON RING!!! Sadly, COVID cancelled my original ring ceremony in April, but have no fear we had our own “Dorn Style” ring ceremony and it was perfect!
July //

July was filled with all the party planning for our COVID safe party this year! You can check out some of our recipes for July 4th under our Holiday tab!

Meg and I also took a little trip down to Pawley’s Island with her family! We spent some time at the waterpark, went to the beach, did some shopping and ate LOTS of good food!
August //

Boy was this month tough. To start it off we celebrated both of my parents birthdays and their anniversary! Woohoo! Then I had to start packing my things to move back to college for my senior year. Although I was excited to get back to TigerTown, my heart was heavy those last couple weeks knowing I would have to say goodbye to my little best friend. But I was extremely grateful for the extra time I got to spend with Peyton due to the shutdown! So I packed up my things and began my senior year! I still can’t believe it and I only have a semester left…
September //

September was a PACKED month to say the least! I started off September celebrating Sean’s 21st birthday by doing a “12 Days of Birthday” punchboard for him! This was so much fun to do and a great way to lead up to his big day!

You can’t have September without FOOTBALL!! My favorite time of the year ๐ We had so much fun tailgating with Peyton and making ALL the yummy tailgating foods!
October //

This month we celebrated this girl turning 1 year old!! I cannot believe how much time has flew by. It feels like just yesterday I was sitting at the hospital waiting for her to make her appearance!

You can’t have October without ending on Halloween! This picture is solely for entertainment. Haha! Sean and I wanted to dress up as Ross and Rachel for Halloween! If you are huge fans of Friends like we are, then you probably get this costume. If you are not, well… watch the finale of season 5 ๐
November //

This month was another sad month that brought lots of things to an end unfortunately. This was the last home game as students for Sean and I. Clemson decided to go virtual after Thanksgiving break so I had to say goodbye to my kindergarten kiddos from my placement. BUT Thanksgiving was still a blast this year even though it was a lot smaller than usual.
December //

Started off December celebrating my 22nd birthday in the best way possible! I celebrated half the day with my family and spent the other half with friends in Clemson! I could not be more thankful for everyone who went out of their way to make this day so special!

CHRISTMAS!!! We had the BEST Christmas this year spending it running around playing with all the toys Santa brought!
Now to sum it all up, 2020 was not all that bad. We had our ups and downs, but overall the time I got to spend with my family is not something I would trade in this world. I am looking forward to all the great things 2021 brings us! Maybe you’ll have a Clemson Grad on here in the next few months ๐ Happy New Years everyone!!
Tammy
Tiff, that was awesome! We will have a Clemson grad soon! ๐งก๐๐ฏ
