I am so excited for this upcoming week in student teaching because we have lots of fun things planned for St. Patty’s Day! We recently just celebrated our 100th day of school and my Cooperating Teacher and I put together a 100 piece snack mix for the students to munch on throughout the day and they LOVED it! So we thought it would be so much fun for them to create these fun little rainbows below! We are going to let the students string the fruit loops on a pipe cleaner and attach it inside their donut holes! I am obsessed with these little fun treats and cannot wait to do it in my own classroom!

Up next is this ADORABLE leprechauns craft! We have been doing LOTS of crafts recently and the students are obsessed with them. This would be such a fun thing for the students to make where you could attach their picture inside the hole or let them use it as a prop and take all of their pictures with them!

This is another idea that I cannot wait to do in my classroom next year! Some teachers like to “trash” their classroom as if a leprechaun snuck in! This cute little leprechaun bait bag will be so fun for the students to snack on during the week of St. Patty’s day!

We are doing a writing activity very similar to the one below! The students will be given a shamrock where they will each write 4 different things on why they are lucky! This is just a fun little writing activity for the students to do to remember all of the things they are lucky to have and get to do!

We are currently working on an 8 week unit with geography and animals! My Cooperating Teacher and I have decorated the entire classroom to look like the world with each of the 7 different continents. I cannot wait to share pictures and all of the fun activities we have done already and the ones we having coming up! Stay tuned 😉
