The time has finally come to share Peyton’s playroom! It has been done for a while now but it has taken me a while to move all her toys in, hang the art, and do all the final touches. I can’t wait for her to grow up in this room and have her own space to run and play. She LOVES it up here.
When we built our house a couple of years ago, our builders suggested that we let them stick build the roof so that we could finish it one day if we wanted to. That day seemed so far away, but after Peyton came into the picture we knew this would be the perfect space for her and all of her toys that were previously spread all over the house. I LOVE having this space that she can wreck everyday and I don’t have to feel like I need to constantly clean it. We also took the extra steps to add some closets and a full bathroom up here so that IF she wanted to make this her room one day, she would have that option.
So without further ado, here’s the playroom! I have linked things where I can in case you are working on a playroom for your own house!

This 6-cube organizer is housing A LOT of toys for us right now. I got these cubes to go inside and they look really good with the carpet color we chose, which was Biscuit. Peyton doesn’t totally know how to pull the cubes out yet so on the top shelf I have stored most of her baby toys that she doesn’t play with anymore. I purchased this Mini Blink Camera on Amazon back on Prime Day last fall. Peyton isn’t really ready to play up here by herself yet but when she does, it will give me peace of mind to be able to watch her from downstairs if I hear any loud scary noises, haha! Not pictured to the left over here is also a Melissa & Doug Toy Chest. It isn’t anywhere near full yet but I think it is important to have room to grow!

It is my ultimate vision for us to get a daybed for this corner of the room. I’d love to get a daybed with a trundle bed underneath for any future sleepovers that Peyton wants to have in this room. But for now, we popped up our California Beach Company tent and it is the perfect addition to this space! Christmas Mickey hangs out in there all the time, and Peyton loves walking in and out and in and out. You’ve heard me talk about this tent before and how convenient it is to keep in the car and pop up wherever we go, but it is serving a great purpose up here too! You can check out their colors and purchase your own by clicking on this link AND you can use code DELIGHTFULLYDORN for 10% off your purchase!
As for this blanket ladder, I don’t have a link for it because this is one of a kind! My best friend, Maggie, made this for us for Christmas! She is getting into building and is making some pretty impressive stuff! If you have a great builder friend in your life, they can totally make this for you, or you can find them at Kirkland’s and lots of other places! We love it in this space!

My grandparents gifted Peyton with this Melissa & Doug Table and Chair Set for Christmas and she is constantly sitting in it… or standing on it…

I think Andrew went a little overboard on the TV size up here but it’s like watching a life size Mickey Mouse in person. Peyton got this Little Tikes Slide for her birthday and she loves to climb up both sides! It is the perfect size for her right now.

We added this precious little window seat and I am working on ordering a cushion for this space now. I can just see Peyton sitting all curled up right here reading one day!

I picked up this big piece at Hobby Lobby! There’s actually an electrical panel under here so the sole purpose of this piece was to cover the entire thing. This is right as you walk into the room so I didn’t want to have to look at it all the time. I am SO happy with how this turned out!

And now, my favorite part of the room- Peyton’s kitchen! Tiff got this kitchen for Peyton for Christmas from Amazon. It is VERY similar to the super expensive one from Pottery Barn. It came with two ice cubes that come out of the functioning ice maker and that is definitely the highlight of the kitchen for her, haha. I picked up this wide three-drawer organizer from Target to organize all of her plates, utensils and pretend food. She also got this shopping cart and fills it up with all her things and pushes it all over the playroom. I would highly recommend this setup for your toddler!

We added a full bathroom up here just in case Peyton wanted this to be her room someday. It is SO much more convenient than running up and down the stairs all the time. I especially love the leathered granite that we chose for this space- it is called “Fantasy Brown”.

We just had these closets installed and while this may have been unnecessary at this time, I am PUMPED for all the extra storage space. As you can see, I have already moved in ALL my wrapping supplies. I LOVE wrapping presents. I am totally envisioning setting up a 6′ table up here at Christmas time and making a whole wrapping station while Peyton plays.

Thanks for making it through that long post! I was so excited to share this new addition with you guys. I think soon I will do a complete run-down of Peyton’s favorite toys at this age. Do you have a playroom in your house? Am I missing anything up here that you think Peyton would love!?

Love it! What fun that sweetie will have!
