This past weekend we hosted Peyton’s 1st Birthday Party at home! With COVID, it was a small gathering, but we still went all out with decorations and everything to ensure this was still an amazing first birthday (ya know, because she’s totally going to remember it)!
You can relive this party over again with us by watching the video below! (I will be reliving it like 20 times a day for the next week. Haha)
Below you can find pictures of the party and I will link things where I can!

This is the balloon arch that I picked up for only $10 at Hobby Lobby! It was so easy to put together, we just had a hard time finding a place to hang it in the house. I will most definitely do more research on this in the future, but would 100% recommend a balloon arch for an easy decoration that looks like you put a lot of effort in. I bought this ‘Happy Birthday Peyton’ banner off Etsy and is sold out right now, but there are tons of similar options! Side note: This is the Pottery Barn My First Anywhere Chair that Peyton LOVES. She even sat in it to open a few presents!
My parents got Peyton this sweet pink Little Tikes car and Peyton LOVES it. She also got this slide and this water table and she basically runs back and forth between these three things all day long.

So the theme of Peyton’s birthday party was the letter P! ‘P is for Party, P is for Peyton!’ So naturally, all of her food started with the letter P! Pretzels, petit fours, pepperoni & cheese tray, pigs in a blanket, etc. Tiff’s brother’s girlfriend also made these AMAZING cookies that served as our party favors! How cute are they??

All of my birthday cakes have always come from our local bakery, McFarlan Bake Shop, so naturally- Peyton’s have to as well! This was her perfect little smash cake! The petit fours with the tiny pumpkins on top came from McFarlan too!

I’m pretty proud of this centerpiece- we gutted these three pumpkins a few days before the party so that they could dry out. Then the day of the party I just filled them with water and arranged these roses and my Mom made this ‘P’ to attach to the main pumpkin in the piece. Super easy and unique!

Just in case you were wondering… she really dug into that smash cake!

They always say that time flies with your babies, and man are they right. It is SHOCKING that she turns one today. Just thinking back to how small she was, how she relied on us for everything, and slept all the time- WOW what a difference a year makes. She walks, she talks, she YELLS, she feeds herself. Okay okay, I digress. Please excuse me while I cry myself to sleep over my not-so-baby-anymore turning 1!
