Anyone else with a toddler knows that you basically have 0 minutes to get yourself ready in the morning before you have to move along with the morning routine. So, today I am sharing the 7 products that I use to get myself ready in the morning!
And just in time, because the Sephora sale is happening this week! Use the diagram below to determine which date you are able to shop depending on you status, and don’t forget to use code HOLIDAYFUN to get your percentage off! I am a VIB member so my cart is full and I am about to check-out. If you haven’t shopped at Sephora before, it is super easy to sign-up RIGHT NOW and automatically save 10%.
Mary Kay CC Cream // This is the first Foundation I ever wore and I still wear it today for everyday coverage. It is definitely a very light coverage, but that works for me from day to day. I have also tried the IT Cosmetics CC Cream and it is way more coverage than this Mary Kay. I wear shade light to medium.
Tarte Shape Tape // Tried and true favorite! Great coverage, always easy to find in a store, and a good price point in my opinion. I wear shade 22N. I just ordered the face tape foundation from the Tarte sale, so I am also excited to try that out to wear when I want a very full coverage look. I have also heard great things about the Hourglass Airbrush Concealer. It is currently in my Sephora cart, but I am thinking about not buying it until I can go into the store to get matched for the correct shade.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder // Okay, I will admit that this is EXPENSIVE. But, it works. It truly blurs everything and gives a great set to my light coverage CC Cream. It does last me a while, but it is still a splurge on makeup for me. I wear shade medium.
Too Faced Sweetie Pie Bronzer // This is the coolest makeup product I have ever owned. I found this via Lindsey Regan Thorne on Instagram and I will never not use it. Basically, it is a bronzer, blush and highlighter all in one. It sounds crazy, but it totally works. It is the ultimate cheat product for busy moms. Just swipe it on the cheek bones, forehead temples, and chin area and BAM you are good to go. If this isn’t your speed though- I also have the Hula Matte Bronzer and the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Blushing Bride and love these to use seperately.
Becca Cosmetics Highlighter // I wear this highlighter in the Champagne Pop color and it is the perfect shade for tons of skin tones. It also has great pigment so it shows up with just a tiny amount. I just purchased this Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Highlighter in the Exposed shade from the Tarte sale and am excited to try. Also, one time I bought the Benefit Cookie Powder Highlighter from one of those Benefit vending machines in the airport one time- I had to try it out!
Tarte In Bloom Palette // Eyeshadow is most definitely not my area of expertise (really none of this is!). I am so afraid that I will go overboard and look like an old lady that wears way too much eyeshadow. This palette is good because it has nice natural tones and honestly, I don’t think the pigmentation is that good so I feel like I can use it more freely. I also own this Too Faced Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette and it has great colors, but they are more shimmery and I am definitely more of a plain jane matte kinda girl.
Loreal Voluminous Superstar 2-in-1 // And for the big finale, the best mascara that you can find at the drugstore, grocery store, and just about anywhere. It is double sided- one side being the primer and the other being the mascara. Sure, this makes it not last as long, but the price point is so good that I replace it when I see it becoming the least big empty and sub-par. You can also buy just the primer by itself which I absolutely do when I am using different mascaras. In the past, some of my favorites have been the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes and the IT Cosmetics Superhero!
Don’t forget to shop the sale this week! I will share what I get on Instagram stories when my package arrives!
