Classroom Christmas Crafts

Did I survive the week before Christmas in kindergarten? Barely, haha! We had Christmas spirit week last week which made it that much crazier but so fun! I wanted to make this week as fun as possible for my littles, so here are a few crafts we did last week and a couple gifts I made for the families 🙂

“Selfie” ornaments- These were such a fun little ornament to put together for the kids to take home this year. I hung these up on our wall in the hallway and the kids loved seeing their little faces with Santa hats on! I bought this template and just printed and laminated them so they will last longer 🙂

Reindeer Application & Craft- This was so fun to do during the month of December! We read the book “Olive the other Reindeer” first, which is seriously so cute! Then each kid came up with a reason why they would make a good reindeer and filled out their very own “Reindeer Application”. I had some of the best responses too! Along with this one below, one child wrote “I would help Santa out of the chimney when he gets stuck” haha! Then we did a reindeer directed drawing to complete it 🙂

Ugly Sweater craft– So this was one of the fun Christmas stations I had set up for our half day Friday. The kids LOVED it! I found this free template off TPT and then just had crayons, markers, glitter, mini pom poms, pipe cleaners and letter stickers for them to create their own sweater. They turned out SO cute and will definitely continue this fun little craft for years to come!

Grinch Craft– We had “Grinch Day” on Thursday and this craft was just perfect for it! We started off with reading the classic- “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and then they did their writing afterwards. This was another adorable writing prompt that had some of the best answers! This one below was probably my favorite, so simple but so sweet 🙂 This craft was also free off TPT and very easy to put together!

Last but not least, this snow filled ornament was my favorite 🙂 I made one of these for each of my kids and wrote the year on the bottom as a gift for their families! I bought these clear ornaments from Target and the fake snow from the Dollar Tree. So easy to make and turns out so adorable 🙂 I even made one with this cutie in it 😉
