Last week was a BUSY week! We celebrated our 100th day of school AND our 101st day! I am hopping on here today to share allll the details about each of these days 🙂

Let’s start with the 100th day! So our Kindergarten team decided we would dress as if we were 100 years old. The kids LOVED it and it was so exciting to see all the creative things the families came up with! Most of you already saw my outfit, haha! I ordered this wig off Amazon and pretty much had everything else! The look on their faces when they saw me was priceless, half of them didn’t even know it was me, haha!

We started off with this fun “When I am 100 years old” writing. Prior to this day, I took all of their pictures on the “Aging Booth” app and made them all look as if they were 100! I printed their pictures and added it to the paper, they thought it was hilarious!

Throughout the day I would lay out these hearts that had numbers 1-100. Every time a student found a heart, they could add it to our 100’s chart! This was a fun activity that kept them up and moving and took literally the entire day so they loved it!

Centers this day were focused around doing things to 100. The first station we had was the fruit loop necklace. This station took FOREVER but they were occupied the whole time and quiet while doing it so it was a win for me! They had to string 10 fruit loops at a time and then cross off a ten frame every time they did so they knew they would have 100 pieces!

The next station we had was the gumball machine! So fun and turned out adorable! I used paper plates and just stapled them to the red piece of paper.

The next station and probably my favorite, “How many licks will it take to get to the center of your lollipop?”. They were supposed to color in a square every time they took a lick, but you can imagine how long that lasted! As long as they were busy and happy, I was happy, haha! This was another station that was great to keep them occupied while I was assisted other stations.

And finally our last station was creating our shirts for the 101st day! My assistant was amazing and did this whole station by herself and dealt with all the messy paint everywhere, haha.

Which now leads me into the next day… the 101st day of school where we all dressed up like 101 dalmatians!

We made fun hats that morning and in the afternoon I gave them their very own “Dalmatian Dots” to eat! These were both from a bundle I bought off TPT from “Polka Dots Please”.

We worked on a worksheet that had them draw 100 dots on their dalmatian dog!

Lastly, we started this project on the 100th day of school, but we ended up finishing it up on the 101st! Our goal was to write 100 words that we could spell all on our own (and with a little help from around the room 😉

That wraps up 2 of the most busy and exhausting days of Kindergarten so far this year, haha! Totally worth it though after seeing the looks on their faces each day. If you have any questions or anything else you want to see from me, leave a comment below 🙂
